We have a vacancy for a Director of Income Generation to work as part of the Executive team within St Barnabas Hospice.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive this role is responsible for generating income, overseeing fundraising, lottery, retail, marketing, and communications within the Hospice.

As a member of the Executive Management Team, this person will play a key role in shaping, developing and implementing the future St Barnabas Hospice Income Generation Strategy, as well as contributing fully to the strategic planning and corporate management of the Hospice.

They will have overall responsibility for the delivery of income generation with a particular focus on identifying and implementing new income streams beyond established fundraising, lottery and retail streams, optimising voluntary income generation by identifying opportunities with new and innovative ideas, testing new concepts and initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applications are welcome from candidates with

  • Evidence of academic or professional qualifications in a management, leadership, fundraising or marketing profession
  • Senior management or head of experience in commercial income generation, marketing or fundraising at multimillion-pound level
  • Experience of leading at a senior level such as Director or Head of Department
  • Successful track record in the delivery of substantial income targets with experience or a broad understanding of all areas of Retail, Fundraising and Marketing.
  • Experience of formulating strategy.

Contract: Permanent Contract

Hours: Full time 37.5 Hours per week

Salary: £60,000-£70,000, Buying and selling of annual leave options available to qualifying new employees.

Base: Lincoln
