We are unfortunately unable to give individual feedback to applicants not invited to interview due to the large amount of applications we receive across a wide range of vacancies.
Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the position applied for and the circumstances and background of your offences. Our full policy statement on the recruitment of ex-offenders is available on request.
Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive for interview, if you aim to arrive 10 minutes prior to your interview time.
We would always recommend that you dress smartly for your interview.
Please read the Job Description and Person Specification for the role you are applying for thoroughly. Use this information to provide examples of how you meet the essential and desirable criteria giving examples of how you demonstrate the skills we are looking for.

Work experience at St Barnabas Hospice is an excellent opportunity to see what it is like to work for the trust, and in an environment that you may not have had experience in before.
