Make Christmas Matter
We are grateful to the thousands of people who participate in our numerous Christmas activities and fundraisers, remembering loved ones and raising money for our charity.
Each year we support over 12,000 people across Lincolnshire by providing free, compassionate, dignified palliative and end-of-life care, as well as wellbeing services such as bereavement support, counselling, and welfare and benefits advice.
This year, we are asking you, our supporters, to help us raise vital funds for Hospice care for our patients and their families by Making Christmas Matter.

Do a challenge with us
Choose one of our challenges – from walking on LEGO or fire to skydiving, cycling and running, there are so many activities to choose from.
Recycle your Christmas Tree for Hospice Care
Each January, St Barnabas and our wonderful supporters go across the county to collect your Christmas trees and recycle them!
Shop at one of our shops
Support local hospice care and also shop sustainably by popping into one of our 25 shops across the county. You never know what you might find!
Choose a Fundraising idea
Fundraising for St Barnabas could not be any easier, just choose what you would like to do and get stuck in! Click the button for some ideas or come up with your own.
Host a Pub Quiz
Support your local Hospice by hosting your own Quiz night, either in down your favourite pub, at a local community group or even as part of your work social!
Host a Care for a Cuppa
Hosting a coffee morning, bake sale or afternoon tea is a great way to fundraise and support St Barnabas and have a great day with family, friends or colleagues.

Get a bottle (or two) of the delicious Est.1982 Ruby Gin and Ruby Rum, created by Pin Gin to celebrate our 40th anniversary. And the Lincoln Tea and Coffee Company have produced a wonderful Ruby Coffee!

Take a swing and organise a golf day in support of our Hospice. We can help you with hosting your event, just get in touch!

PE Teacher takes on Matterhorn mountain
In 2022, Rick Freeman from Lincoln took on a truly massive challenge in support of St Barnabas Hospice – reaching the 15,000 ft summit of Matterhorn, one of the tallest mountains in the Alps.
7-year-old Jonah raises £333 in memory of Auntie NatNat
A real superstar, Jonah from Market Rasen raised an incredible £333 for St Barnabas by making Christmas baubles in memory of his aunt Natalie Watson, or as Jonah calls her, Auntie NatNat.
Carly skydives in memory of ‘life-changing’ teacher
20-year-old Carly is taking on an exhilarating skydiving in memory of her former teacher Sam Pickersgill, who received care from St Barnabas during the last months of her life.
