Are you looking for a way to make a difference in your community and consider becoming a Trustee for our Hospice?

St Barnabas Hospice provides specialist palliative care to the people of Lincolnshire.

We are looking to strengthen our committed Board by recruiting new Trustees. As a Trustee, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing compassionate end-of-life care to those in need. We are hoping to recruit a number of new Trustees, and welcome applications from any background and experience, but we are especially interested in speaking with people who would be interested in taking on the role of Treasurer.

We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about our cause and dedicated to helping us achieve our goals. As a Trustee, you will collaborate with our experienced Executive team, staff and volunteers to ensure that our hospice is fulfilling its duties and meeting the needs of our patients and their families.

You will be responsible for influencing important decisions regarding the strategic direction of our hospice, from financial and fundraising strategies to the development of our programs and services. With your guidance, we can continue to provide outstanding care to those in need, while establishing ourselves as a leading provider of end-of-life care for our service users across Lincolnshire.

Understanding the healthcare system is not essential, and you do not need to have any prior knowledge about being a Trustee. We will support new Trustees in learning about the governance processes. There are lots of skills from other walks of life that you can use as a Trustee, and we welcome applications from anyone with a background in areas such as finance, IMT, human resources, marketing, income generation, health and safety, as well as those with clinical and medical knowledge. But really, having an interest in healthcare, an inquiring mind and an eye for detail are the main requirements.
