We have BANK vacancies for Staff Nurses to join our established Community Services Teams and Inpatient Unit Team. You will be providing high quality palliative and end of life care, supporting patients who have complex symptom management issues including the provision of emotional and psychological support, working as part of a highly skilled team. .
We can provide the following opportunities for development:
- Preceptorship & mentoring, as well as access to clinical supervision.
- Dying to Communicate & Advance Care Planning Courses completed within 12 months
- Clinical skills training and updates
- Opportunities for further advanced development in specialist palliative skills & academic development.
Applications are welcome from candidates with:
- Current First Level registration with the NMC
- The ability to perform the role with empathy and consideration for the needs of patients and their families.
- The ability to adapt effectively to varying levels of demand as driven by patient needs or as directed by the line manager.
Access to independent transport to visit patients in their own homes is essential for our community based vacancies.
