Are you an Occupational Therapist who is looking to develop your skills in Palliative Rehabilitation and specialising in a role within St Barnabas Hospice?

Do you want a role which will re-ignite your true OT self???

This is an exciting opportunity for autonomous, highly motivated and dynamic Occupational Therapist to work within St Barnabas Community Services.  You will work within a supportive Multi-Disciplinary Team - delivering Palliative Rehabilitation to those patients with a range of Complex Symptom Management needs at a number of Locations across the North East of Lincolnshire. You will be highly involved in the relaunch of Day Services with a rehab approach.

You will need:

• Degree (BSc/MSc) in Occupational Therapy with current registration with the HCPC.
• Experience with management of Respiratory, Oncological, Frailty, Neurological Conditions.
• Recent post-registration experience in a relevant area; i.e. Acute Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Palliative Care or Community Therapies.

You will be:

• Able to develop Palliative Rehabilitation and Occupational Therapy Practice in line with current and appropriate Evidence Base.
• Able to perform the role with empathy and consideration for the needs of a range of patients and their families.
• Able to adapt effectively to varying levels of demand and to support less experienced staff to maintain high levels of care.
