We have a vacancy for a Clinical Educator to work as part of the Education Team.

This exciting position gives the opportunity to design and deliver high quality training and education to St Barnabas colleagues, as well as external audiences such as healthcare professionals across the wider healthcare system.

The Clinical Educator will work closely with a range of people, including St Barnabas senior clinicians, external education providers and clinical experts to inform Trust practice. Whilst the role is predominantly clinically focused, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in education delivery to non-clinical colleagues in areas such as fundraising, retail and HR.

St Barnabas is passionate about making education engaging, and our ethos is to make our training sessions interactive and memorable, so people want to return and learn more!

As a Clinical Educator, you will have the opportunity to be visible right across the Hospice, working alongside clinical colleagues and students on placement, allowing you to identify needs and shape the education programmes required within our Inpatient and community settings.

Main duties of the job / Qualifications and Experience:

Applications are welcome from candidates who are educated to degree level, hold a professional clinical registration and have significant experience working in palliative and end of life care settings. Ideally, you will have a passion for education and experience in course design and delivery.

Hours: Part time - 30hours per week, although there may be opportunities to work additional hours within other departments.
