It’s so rewarding to steward and support people who are passionate about St Barnabas

My role in the Fundraising Team is dedicated to challenges and events. It’s so rewarding to steward and support people who are passionate about St Barnabas – hearing stories of how the Hospice has helped them and their families is a huge honour. Challenges are a fantastic way to raise money, spread awareness and support us – and I’ll be here with you, every step of the way.

Running in the Lincoln 10k brings a sense of poignancy. I like to challenge myself and achieve something.

I was absolutely blown over by how supportive and caring the staff at the Inpatient Unit were. St Barnabas has always resonated with me ever since. Running in the Lincoln 10k brings a sense of poignancy. I like to challenge myself and achieve something. The important thing, though, is to try and raise as much money as possible because it’s so difficult nowadays. For places like the Hospice, there’s a lot of financial challenges.
