Take part in the Lincoln 10k for St Barnabas

The annual City of Lincoln 10k is one of Lincolnshire’s most popular charity road run events and sees thousands participate each year.

The route is flat and fast, perfect for seasoned runners looking to get a personal best. With a route that incorporates Lincoln’s most beautiful landmarks and with huge crowds to cheer you on, it’s a must-do for any running enthusiast!
By signing up for the 10k and fundraising for St Barnabas, you will make a real difference to our patients and families across Lincolnshire who are living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

How to take part

The City of Lincoln 10k is organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run for All, an organisation that hosts runs across the county. You can sign up to the City of Lincoln 10k for just £35.00 per person.
To take part, simply visit the Run for All website and complete the registration process.

After doing so, please fill in our Enthuse form to notify us that you are taking part in the run for us, so we can support you every step of the way. You will receive a branded running tech top, lots of tips on how to fundraise, a cheer squad and a warm welcome at the finish line!

Once you have registered for the race, you can set up your personal Enthuse page and start sharing your fundraising goals for this fantastic challenge – getting your fundraising off to a great start!

How will we support you?

Once you are registered, we will support you every step of the way, with:

• A free St Barnabas branded running top, sent to you once you have set up a Enthuse page
• An invitation to our exclusive ‘Challenges with St Barnabas’ Facebook group, to chat with fellow runners and other fundraisers
• A discount card for local sports and outdoor outlets
• Lots of support to help you with fundraising & training
• St Barnabas staff and volunteers cheering you on along the route
• A goody bag & medal after you have crossed the finish line

How will your support help us?

Your fundraising will help to ensure that St Barnabas Hospice can care for more patients and families across Lincolnshire, every day of the year. All our services are free of charge, which helps us support those who need it.
Each year we need to raise £7 million to keep proving these vital services. All the care and support we provide is made possible by the kind donations of people such as yourself.
For example, if you raised £115.48, it would cover the cost for a Nurse to provide care and support to one of our patients for one day.
