Education Courses

Education Courses

PLEASE NOTE: Dying to Communicate workshops have been postponed until further notice. We hope to arrange some dates for later this year.

We work in partnership with other healthcare providers, to design and deliver education reflective of contemporary palliative care. As experienced educators, we offer a safe environment to encourage practitioners to develop confidence and competence in a range of topics.

We are proud to offer a high-quality, range of education courses that will give you essential knowledge and skills for every day practice. Our courses will help you respond to the rapidly changing healthcare environment and deliver high-quality end-of-life care.

We can offer training at your place of work or at our hospice buildings, matched to your workforce needs.  Topics covered include:

  • Advanced Care Planning
  • Mindfulness
  • Dying to Communicate
  • Frailty
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Symptom Control
  • Bereavement

If you would like to discuss education please contact education@stbarnabashospice.co.uk or telephone us on 01522 785 706.
