Lincolnshire Hospice goes yellow to raise money for end of life care

31st May 2017

Go Yellow fundraisers

St Barnabas Hospice will be going yellow for the entire month of June this year, in order to raise some much needed money for end of life care.

Go Yellow is fun and easy to get involved– just pick any day in June and do something yellow as a way of showing your support for hospice care. You could organise a yellow non-uniform/dress down day, have a yellow party, or even bathe in custard!

St Barnabas will be selling yellow wristbands for £1, which can be purchased at any of their shops or hospice buildings. They are appealing for local companies to get involved in any way they can. Businesses can host yellow fundraising events, or just help by selling the yellow wristbands.

Adrian Oke, Fundraising Development Manager, said:

“Go Yellow is a brilliant way for everyone in our Lincolnshire community to get involved in fundraising. Here is your opportunity to enhance our big, bright and bold county with a sunny yellow glow. It’s time to get creative!

“We’d love to see as many people as possible in Lincolnshire getting involved with this, so please visit our website for some great ideas and resources to help!”

Make sure you turn your social media pages yellow too by uploading your #yelfie (yellow selfie) and tagging St Barnabas. You can also donate by texting GOYL17 and an amount to 70070.
