Lincoln’s 13th annual Light Up a Life and Torchlight Procession took place on the 26th of November which kick-started the Light Up a Life events that are taking place all over the county. This year we had over 1000 in attendance which is a record number of people. The procession walked past the hospice to the Cathedral to light the Tree of Life. This year we introduced messages of love so that people could tie a message to the railings of the tree to remember someone that cannot be with us over Christmas, this was received wonderfully and the messages of love look beautiful outside the Cathedral. The evening made over £3000 for hospice care throughout Lincolnshire and so far our Light Up a Life appeal countywide has raised £26,254.00. This is a truly amazing amount to raise and if you would still like to sponsor a light or donate towards the Light up a Life appeal then click here.
