Donna Wright started working for St Barnabas Hospice in April 2019 as a staff nurse. Last month she started a new stage of her career with us as Clinical Service Manager in the North-West Community Services team.
Donna said, “I joined St Barnabas after being a community nurse because I wanted to specialise in palliative care and become part of this outstanding team which provides compassionate end-of-life care to individuals who want to remain at home.
“I am passionate about enabling choice and ensuring support is accessible to the whole family. Every day is different and presents new circumstances. It is humbling to be part of each person’s journey and a privilege to be able to help them.
“I am so proud to work for St Barnabas, I have been encouraged and supported to progress into my current management role. I have developed as a nurse and learnt so much from this inspiring team. Each day I feel blessed to work for an organisation that not only strives for the highest standard of care but genuinely prioritises the wellbeing of each staff member.”
