QinetiQ

St Barnabas Hospice would like to say a huge thank you to longstanding supporters QinetiQ, a multinational technology company.

The brilliant team at QinetiQ have shown incredible commitment to supporting St Barnabas Hospice through a series of challenging and creative fundraising events.

In 2023, the team completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge, raising an amazing £1,000. This 24-mile trek involves a total ascent of 5,200 ft, tackling three mountains in a single day – a true test of endurance and determination!

Alongside this, they raised a further £325 through a series of events, including a spooky quiz and cakes day, a meat hamper raffle, and an additional quiz night. It’s fantastic to see such imaginative fundraising in action.

Their efforts didn’t stop there! In May 2024, the team took on Ben Nevis, raising a further £1,671, and in October 2024, they hosted a golf day at Blankney, adding another £1,878.47 to their fundraising total. The photos from these events capture just how much fun was had while raising money for a great cause.

Caroline Swindin, Head of Fundraising & Lottery, said:

“It is an absolute pleasure to have the continued support of long-standing supporters QinetiQ. The team have undertaken a range of activities, in the past and into the future, to help raise awareness and provide vital funds to support St Barnabas Hospice care in our local communities. We look forward to working collaboratively together with them again in 2025.”
