St Barnabas Hospice Your Local Hospice Charity

We’re excited to have made our biggest campaign launch in over five years.

Become a Friend of St Barnabas is a new way for our supporters to help sustain hospice care across Lincolnshire. It’s about building a community of people who want to make a lasting difference.

By becoming a Friend of St Barnabas with a regular monthly donation, you’ll help us plan ahead, invest in our services and be there for more people across Lincolnshire, whatever the future brings.

Become a Friend today

As a Friend, you’ll also receive a welcome pack and Friend pin badge, along with regular updates and stories from patients, families and staff. It’s a way to see the difference your kindness makes and feel connected to the community you’re helping to protect.

Our care takes skill, compassion and, above all, time. Regular monthly support from our Friends can give us the confidence to plan ahead so local families can rely on St Barnabas when they need us.

How do I become a Friend?

Joining the Friends community is simple. You can set up your monthly donation using our online form.

  1. Choose a monthly donation

Select the amount you’d like to give each month. We’ve suggested £6, £15, or £30, or you can choose your own amount.

  • £6 a month could help answer an hour of calls to our bereavement helpline, giving someone a listening ear when they need it.
  • £15 a month could go towards an hour of expert end-of-life care in someone’s home.
  • £30 a month could help towards the everyday costs of keeping our hospice running and our doors open for local families.
  1. Enter your details

Fill in your personal details on the online form so we can process your donation and keep you updated about the difference your support is making.

  1. Boost your donation with Gift Aid

If you’re eligible, you can choose to add Gift Aid to your donation. This allows St Barnabas to claim an extra 25p from the government for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you.

  1. Set up your Direct Debit

Once you’ve completed the form, you’ll be taken to our secure GoCardless platform to set up your monthly Direct Debit. Follow the instructions on GoCardless to provide the details needed to set up your regular payment.

Please note: GoCardless will appear on your bank statement when your monthly donation is collected.

  1. Welcome to the Friends community!

That’s it! Once your monthly donation is set up, you’re officially a Friend of St Barnabas. Thank you for choosing to support your local hospice.
