Secondary Breast Cancer Support Group at Lincoln Wellbeing Centre
St Barnabas, in collaboration with Make 2nds Count, hosts dedicated, free Secondary Breast Cancer Support Groups in Lincoln and Boston. If you’re living with a secondary breast cancer diagnosis, we’re here for you. These sessions provide a safe, welcoming space to talk, share and connect with others who understand.
What are Secondary Breast Cancer Support Groups?
The groups are here to support people from across Lincolnshire who are affected by a secondary breast cancer diagnosis. This includes individuals with a diagnosis, their loved ones, friends, and carers.
Providing a safe and friendly environment, the group offers the opportunity to meet others who understand what life now looks like. There is always someone to talk to, whether it is to celebrate, cry, rant, or to simply know someone is listening.
Sometimes the group invites guest speakers, who offer information on exercise, nutrition, mindfulness and more, as well as being able to support attendees in accessing hospital teams.
These groups are facilitated by wonderful volunteers with lived experience and a wealth of knowledge in supporting people’s wellbeing. We openly invite and encourage anyone affected by secondary breast cancer to attend. Whether you’re looking for emotional support, friendship, or just a place to be yourself, we’re here for you.

What is a Wellbeing Centre?
The St Barnabas Wellbeing Centres are a base in the community where patients, their families, friends, and carers can attend medical appointments, counselling and bereavement support, and wellbeing services.
These are modern, friendly spaces where local people can find support. The centres host support groups, creative wellbeing groups, informal drop-in coffee mornings, along with other types of social events where everyone is welcome to have a chat and meet new people.
