Creative Wellbeing Group at Boston Wellbeing Centre

Each week, Creative Wellbeing Groups are held at our St Barnabas Wellbeing Centres across Lincolnshire, offering a comforting space to chat and be creative.

Activities include crocheting and knitting, sewing, memory book making, colouring, weaving, paper craft, painting, and other crafts. All materials provided!

What is Creative Wellbeing?

Being creative helps us to take time out, reduce stress, express emotion, feel rewarded and connect with others.

Our weekly Creative Wellbeing groups across Lincolnshire encourage you to experiment with arts and crafts – from painting, colouring and memory book making, to paper craft, sewing and weaving.

The sessions are led by our knowledgeable volunteers who pick an activity for the week, and all materials are provided. Their overall aim is to provide a creative outlet that promotes healing, resilience, and personal growth, helping individuals find peace and wellbeing.

They’re a wonderful opportunity to practice mindfulness, reduce stress, and meet new people. These sessions provide a friendly and welcoming space to share stories and have a chat whilst working on your projects.

It’s free to attend for everyone, including those without a patient connection to St Barnabas. No booking is required, and free onsite parking is available.

What is a Wellbeing Centre?

The St Barnabas Wellbeing Centres are a base in the community where patients, their families, friends, and carers can attend medical appointments, counselling and bereavement support, and wellbeing services.

These are modern, friendly spaces where local people can find support. The centres host support groups, creative wellbeing groups, informal drop-in coffee mornings, along with other types of social events where everyone is welcome to have a chat and meet new people.
