Spalding dog walkers needed to help raise money for local hospice

24th May 2016

Local independent charity St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice are hosting a sponsored dog walk, Paws 4 a Cause, to help boost the funds they need to care for people living with a life limiting illness throughout the county.

The walk will take place on Sunday 19th June, from 1pm and will begin at Springfields Event Centre in Spalding. Dog walkers can choose to walk two or four miles along the coronation channel.

Vikki Allen, Community Events Fundraiser, said:

“This is a fabulously fun event for dog lovers in Spalding and is a great opportunity for like-minded people to come together for an afternoon stroll. The walk is suitable for all fitness levels as owners and their dogs can choose to walk two or four miles.

“This is the first time we have brought this event to Spalding and we hope that our community will get behind our efforts to raise vital funds to continue the care and support to patients and their families across Spalding.”

Registration is just £5 per dog.
