Our Welfare & Benefits team exists to ease money worries with practical advice and guidance, but most importantly, to listen and to reassure.
Including discussing the benefits you may be entitled to, supporting and completing application forms, and accessing grants or other support that may be needed.

To access this service, you must be registered to a Lincolnshire GP and have a life-limiting illness which includes conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, heart failure, motor neurone disease, COPD, and many other non-cancer conditions, as well as many cancer diagnoses, including those where treatment is continuing but is not expected to cure the illness.
If eligible for the service, we aim to contact people within five working days – something we’re very proud of. We understand how important it is to get the help as soon as possible.
Please note: Our Welfare and Benefits team will ask for your explicit consent to access your SystmOne records or speak with a health professional involved with your care, such as your GP, Macmillan Nurse, or Consultant. We will ask for consent to gain access to medical letters and information regarding your health condition, to best support your applications. If you do not give your explicit consent this will not affect our team assisting you, but it will make it more difficult and may delay progress of your claims.

Attendance Allowance is financial support to help you with the extra costs of your disability or health condition. It can help if you have difficulty with personal care or need someone to assist you because of your condition. You must be State Pension age or older when you claim.
