Popular Skellingthorpe craft fair returns for tenth year

28th September 2017

Annual craft fair returns to Skellingthorpe to help raise money for local hospice

Gemini Craft Designs is hosting this popular craft fair at Skellingthorpe Community Centre and Youth Hall in aid of St Barnabas Hospice on Sunday 8th October, from 10.30am – 4.00pm.

Gemini Craft Designs is a Lincoln based arts and crafts business that prides itself on designing and hand crafting unique glass gifts, hand crafted glass jewellery, ornaments and wall art.

The craft fair will also include original and local stalls from a variety of local crafters, including Fabricraft who focus on original fabric decorations and cushions, and Forgotten Fare who specialise in recipes adapted from original manuscripts and old books.

St Barnabas Hospice will also be hosting a stall full of wonderful gifts and Hospice merchandise. The St Barnabas 2018 calendars will be available to purchase, as well as this year’s Christmas cards, and all proceeds will be going directly to hospice care.

Laura Stones, Events Fundraiser for St Barnabas Hospice, said:

“Shoppers can discover unique Christmas gifts handmade by craft stalls from across the county. There will handmade glassware from Gemini Crafts, hand painted garden ornaments from Cheryl Tate, and wooden gifts from Danny Mellor.

“Whether you want to browse or buy, there is sure to be something that will catch your eye. There will also be the opportunity to indulge in some delicious food and beverages.”

Guests will be able to enter a prize draw by getting their programme stamped at both the Skellingthorpe Community Centre and the Youth Hall.

Admission is £1, and all funds raised will go directly to providing care for patients and their families across Lincolnshire.
