Our team can help patients, their families, friends and carers by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support. We can offer counselling, bereavement support, social groups, and spiritual care to all faiths and none. Talking with a counsellor, spiritual care champion, religious leader or minister can help to ease worry.
See what support we can offer youWe know that caring for a loved one can be very rewarding, but we understand it can also be demanding of your time and sometimes overwhelming. We work collaboratively with Carers First to offer patients, their family members, and carers, support where and when they need it.
A carer is someone who provides care and support to a family member or friend, who is unable to do tasks such as washing, dressing, taking medication, attending appointments etc. For some, taking on a caring role can be sudden, for others caring responsibilities can grow gradually over time. The amount and type of support that carers provide can vary considerably.

Carers First
One of the first thoughts when someone is diagnosed with a life-limiting or terminal illness is about finances and the impact this will have on themselves and their family. We aim to alleviate worries about financial wellbeing through the expert support and guidance of our welfare and benefits advisers.
Find out what we can help withPeople with a life-limiting or terminal illness may find completing activities or basic tasks and maintaining independence more challenging.
