St Barnabas Hospice in Grantham hosts new ‘Early Birds’ ladies only sponsored walk

On Sunday 18th September, St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice will be hosting a new early morning ladies only sponsored walk at Stoke Rochford Hall in Grantham.

The walk will start at 7am and participants can choose to walk four or seven miles before receiving a breakfast bap on their return.

Janie McCormick, Community Events Fundraiser for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, said:

“It’s time for ladies across the county to grab their trainers and help us to welcome in a new dawn as we walk through the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. Every single woman that takes part will be helping to ensure we can provide dedicated, compassionate hospice care every day of the year.

“Our ‘Early Birds’ is set to be a morning full of fun and laughter! Whatever your reason for walking; to support the hospice, to get fit or to remember a loved one, you could make a real difference to our patients and their families.”

The Early Birds walk replaces the hospice Moonlight Walk which historically took place later in the evening.

Early Bird adult registration is just £10, with child (11-16 years old) registration at the fee of £5.
