Lincolnshire hospice brings popular ladies afternoon tea to Alford

11th September 2015

Alford Manor House

Back by popular demand, for the third year, is the Ladies Afternoon Tea at Alford Manor House in support of St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice. The event will take place on Tuesday 29th September from 4-6pm.

Ladies from the local community are invited to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the beautiful surroundings of Alford Manor House. Guests can also enjoy some time shopping the local produce from the craft and gift stalls.

Entertainment is supplied by the ‘Withern Singers’ who will perform a selection of songs from their extensive repertoire.

Caroline Swindin, Community Events Fundraiser for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, said:

“This is a lovely afternoon out for ladies and it is becoming increasingly popular, last year we sold out. It is wonderful to see the ladies dressed up with their hats, fascinators and scarves and to add to the fun we present a prize for the best-dressed lady on the day. ”

Tickets are £10 per person and can be bought online at www.stbarnabashospice.co.ukALtea or from the St Barnabas shop in Alford.
