St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice brings 3rd annual Paws 4 a Cause to Lincoln

On Sunday 26th June from 10am, St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice will be hosting its 3rd annual Paws 4 a Cause event, which will start and end at Skellingthorpe Community Centre.

Dog walkers can choose to walk three or four and a half miles around Skellingthorpe Old Wood and will be led by the Paws 4 a Cause mascot, a pug named Ethel.

Laura Stones, Events Fundraiser for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, said:

“This annual event is becoming a firm favourite within our local community and it is wonderful to see so many owners and their dogs turn out to show their support for our patients and their families.

“Last year 75 dogs turned out to raise an incredible £3,000 for St Barnabas and this year we would love to see that figure increase so that we can care for even more people across our county.”

Registration will open from 10am in the Skellingthorpe Community Centre car park and the walk will begin from 10:30am.

Registration is £5.00 per dog and each dog will receive a free doggy-bag full of treats to take home for completing the walk.
