With only a few weeks left until Grantham’s first EVER Bubble Rush, participants are being reminded to sign up before it’s too late
As the first of its kind to visit Grantham, the 5k Bubble Rush has attracted participants from all over the county. With only a few weeks left until the big event at Stoke Rochford Hall on Saturday September 30th, it is the last chance for participants to sign up.
The Bubble Rush is an un-timed 5k fun run with four bubble stations at every kilometre. High-powered foam cannons will blow out 30 cubic metres of bright foamy bubbles to cover you from head to toe! All ages are welcome, but under 16’s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
With the Rush commencing at 12pm, there is plenty of time before and after to visit a great range of food and merchandise stalls. Participants can bring along as many family members and friends and they’d like. There will be children’s activities on the day, and it’s completely free for spectators to attend.

“Whether you want to get fit or remember a loved one, the Bubble Rush is definitely going to be a day to remember.
“The money raised from this and other similar events is integral to help St Barnabas provide continuous care and support for patients and their families. We hope that participants this year will raise in excess of £40,000.

“The amazing Anytime Fitness, Grantham has even put together a Desk to 5K plan which participants have been using to get rush ready!”

The event is a great idea for local businesses to get involved in and promote staff morale. Alternatively, you could gather together a group of friends, or even enter your club or society.
Registration is only £25 for adults, £15 for children (aged 5+), with under 5’s going free, or £65 for a family ticket. Each adult is asked to raise a minimum sponsorship of £20.17. Included in the registration fee is a fundraising pack, a Bubble Rush t-shirt, a bottle of water, and a commemorative medal.
