St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice has raised over £16,500 from their It’s a Knockout fundraiser which saw 170 competitors go head to head on the inflatable obstacle course.
Held on Sunday 16th July at Washingborough Playing Fields, 17 teams took part in the family fun day.
Laura Stones, Event Fundraiser for St Barnabas Hospice, said:
“I am absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of money raised from this year’s It’s a Knockout. The money raised will help to support hundreds of families across Lincolnshire who are living with a life limiting or terminal illness.”
Teams from Cooke and Mason, Hodgkinsons Solicitors, Siemens, Starglaze Windows and Waterside Shopping Centre were among many who battled it out on a giant inflatable obstacle course, filled with bubbles and water.
Laura said: “My sincere gratitude goes to everyone who took part in the games and to everyone who came along to show their support. A huge thank you must also goes to our generous volunteers who gave up their time to ensure the success of this event.”
