Knitted Decorative 'Easter Novelties'

We’re on the hunt for ‘egg-cellent’ new and returning knitters to lend a hand by creating decorative Easter Novelties – including bunnies, rabbits, chickens and other unique Spring time characters.

Knitters Unite

As Easter approaches, we once again ask our amazing supporters to knit or crochet some unique, decorative novelties to enclose everyone’s favourite treat, a crème egg, during the spring months!

If you would like to support and donate your hand-knitted novelties, please be aware that we don’t expect you to fill them with crème eggs, and we welcome them without.

To get started, you can find a range of printable PDF patterns below:

If you are unable to knit but would still like to support the Hospice’s spring initiative, we encourage donations of wool and crème eggs!

Alongside knitters, we are appealing to places across Lincolnshire to host a box of Knitted Novelties. Anywhere from local shops, pubs, cafes, schools and individual businesses can request a box, with proceeds going towards our Hospice.

If you would like to knit or donate wool or eggs for our Easter campaign, please contact our Fundraising Team, who will be happy to help!

DEADLINE; mid March for knitting submissions.

Unfortunately, the Hospice is unable to provide wool or creative materials. This is to ensure that the appeal is financially viable for the Hospice and the services we provide.

All funds raised go directly towards supporting the provision of vital Hospice care across Lincolnshire.

Please note: these are decorative items only, not to be sold as toys.
