Gainsborough community invited to popular hospice coffee morning

30th May 2017

St Barnabas Hospice returns with their popular coffee morning on Thursday 8th June, from 10am – 12 noon, at their Gainsborough site on Front Street Morton.

St Barnabas, the principal provider of end-of-life care across Gainsborough, provides day therapy weekly from its locality base at the hospice. It also the headquarters for their community nursing team who provide care in the home 365 days a year.

Caroline Swindin, Corporate Fundraiser for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, said:

“It is always lovely to see the hospice bustling with lots of visitors and everyone is very welcome. We will have our popular cake and homemade produce stall, tombola, St Barnabas giftware as well as an assortment of plants.”

Guests can indulge in a slice of cake and a hot drink whilst relaxing in the gardens before browsing stalls and trying their luck on the tombola.

The month of June sees St Barnabas `Go Yellow’ with the local community encouraged to do something yellow and help support local families across the region.

Caroline said:

“Go Yellow is a really easy way for the local community to get involved and do something amazing for local families. So why not show your support for hospice care and join us at our Coffee Morning wearing something Yellow?”
