Fun for all the family at Lincolnshire hospice fete

26th August 2015

On Sunday 20th September, from 11:00am – 3pm, St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice will be hosting their annual fete at their Day Therapy Centre on Hawthorn Road in Lincoln. There will be entertainment including birds of prey, a BBQ and more than 10 stalls selling homemade produce and crafts.

For the younger members of the family, there will be plenty of games and competitions to take part in, along with face painting and a bouncy castle. Guests can also enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake in the idyllic landscaped gardens of the Day Therapy Centre.

Ben Petts, Community Events Fundraiser for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, said:

“Our annual Fete is a real highlight in our calendar and each year we try to make it bigger and better than before. The fete is a wonderful day out for all the family as there is something for everyone to enjoy.

“Each year our local community turn out in droves to support our annual fete and our hospice. A huge thank you must go to our volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the successful running of our events.”

Volunteer hospice complementary therapists will also be present to provide moments of relaxation with massage and reiki.

There is free entry to this event and free onsite parking.
