Remembering a very special stepdad at this time of year, we think of you everyday and you will stay forever in our hearts. This will be the first Christmas without you and it won’t seem right not writing and sending a special Christmas card to you. Your light will shine on the tree and bring us comfort as will the light on our Christmas tree. As we decorate our tree we shall be remembering you with loving affection and although it will bring a tear your light will bring us comfort. Remembering a very special mum and dad in our hearts you will always stay and we think of you everyday. Christmas is a special time of year for families and you will be with us all this Christmas as your light shines on the Christmas tree. We shall put our Christmas tree up and put your special lights on and your grandchildren will do the same. As we decorate the tree we shall tell your great grandchildren how special you were and tell them stories of the happy Christmases we spent with you. As silent night plays I will shed a tear as I remember how you both peacefully left us and the light turned out, now I see your lights shinning on the Christmas tree and I look at them with a smile. We especially miss you at this time of year, you loved Christmas and the excitement (and aggravation) that came with it. You were such a big part of our family christmases.
My fondest Christmas memories were staying at Grandma and Grandad's from Christmas eve until January!
