As part of their Charity of the Year initiative for 2024, each of the offices at Wright Vigar were given the opportunity to choose a local hospice to support.
In a commitment to give back to the local community, they have actively engaged with St Barnabas through fundraising events, volunteering efforts and awareness campaigns throughout the year.
This has included raising an incredible £2,000 tackling the Three Peaks Challenge, £1,500 conquering the Equinox24 (a 24-hour relay race), and over £1,000 at a quiz night at Lincoln City Football Club. Two members of the Wright Vigar team swapped their desks for parachutes in an exhilarating skydive, raising an impressive £1,345.
Tom Maxwell, Marketing Manager at Wright Vigar, said: “We are delighted to be supporting St Barnabas Hospice this year. By supporting local hospices, we directly impact the lives of those in our region, fostering a sense of community and solidarity. With many of the team relying on the support of their local hospice during difficult times, the team were keen to support. It is not until you need their support you realise how amazing the services they provide actually are. Hopefully, we can help ensure this support is available to all those in our community that need it.”
