This course refreshes participants’ understanding of immune physiology before exploring the pathophysiology of allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. Delegates develop the knowledge and practical skills required to recognise and manage anaphylaxis safely, including intramuscular administration of 1:1000 adrenaline and correct use of an EpiPen.
