Course Overview
This course provides a refresher on the physiology of blood glucose control before exploring the pathophysiology of different types of diabetes. It equips delegates with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely manage diabetes in patients receiving palliative and end of life care, including the recognition and management of diabetic emergencies.
Practical blood glucose monitoring using a glucometer is also included.
