Residuary Gift
A residuary gift, or ‘share of your estate’, is the percentage of your estate that you choose to leave to a beneficiary. It will not devalue over time.
At St Barnabas Hospice, we would not be able to provide our vital care without individuals who leave a gift in their Will. Each gift, no matter the size, is one of the most powerful ways to protect local hospice care so it’s here for everyone who needs it, now and in the future.
We believe high-quality, dignified end-of-life care is a human right, not a luxury – and it is our mission to provide this level of care to our community, far into the future.
Over the last four decades, the range of services we provide has grown, but our vision and mission have never changed. We are a community-owned hospice, with services in every corner of Lincolnshire to ensure that anyone with a terminal illness or life-limiting condition – along with their family members and carers – can access the support they need.
Every day, we see the incredible impact that legacy donors make in supporting our vital services across Lincolnshire. Their generosity helps us expand our care, support our staff, and set up new initiatives. In fact, they make up our biggest income stream.

A pecuniary gift, or ‘cash gift’ , is an exact sum of money. Inflation may devalue the amount over time, so you might like to ask your solicitor about linking it to the Retail Price Index, to ensure it maintains its value.
