St Barnabas Hospice looks for volunteers to help with their Christmas tree collection service
St Barnabas Hospice are appealing for volunteers to help with their upcoming Christmas tree recycling campaign on Saturday 7th January.
The charity is looking for volunteers to help promote the event by delivering leaflets to households across Lincoln throughout December. They are also looking for anyone with a van who can help collect the trees in January.
Laura Stones, Event Fundraiser for St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice, said:
“Our ‘Tree-cycle’ campaign is a brilliant way for our community to get rid of their unwanted trees whilst raising much-needed funds to allow us to continue caring for patients and their families across Lincolnshire.
“The leaflet distribution or tree collecting would be perfect for any businesses looking to organise a team building exercise, fill volunteer days or who just have a few hours to spare in December or January.”
The hospice will be collecting trees in parts of LN1, LN2, LN3, LN4, LN5 and LN6.
