Funerals and collections in memory
Many people choose to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one by donating to charitable causes close close to their heart. Donations made in memory of someone are especially important to St Barnabas Hospice, as they are not only a special way to remember a loved one, but they also help to support the vital care and support our Hospice provides to our patients and their families.
Remember a loved one with a Funeral Tribute page
Set up an online page to collect donations digitally for a loved one’s funeral. It only takes a few minutes to set up, and you are able to personalise your loved one’s page with shared photos and memories. Your loved one’s page will also include information about a physical service, such as a funeral or a ‘celebration of life’ event. You can also invite friends and family to donate to your online page.

Donations in lieu of flowers
Many families wish to have donations in lieu of flowers at funerals and choose to support a charity close to their heart.
We can provide collection envelopes for a funeral or memorial service. These envelopes make collecting money on the day easier and can be personalised with the name of your loved one.
We can also provide a funeral collection box. To arrange to book out and collect one of these boxes please contact our Supporter Care team by emailing supportercare@stbarnabashospice.co.uk or call 01522 559 508.
Please ensure you give us plenty of notice so we can have your box ready for collection in time for your funeral/memorial service.
