The dedicated team at QinetiQ have demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting St Barnabas Hospice through a fantastic series of challenging and creative fundraising events.
In 2023, the team took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, completing the gruelling 24-mile trek with a total ascent of 5,200 ft and raising more than £1,000. Tackling three mountains in a single day is no small feat — their determination and team spirit truly shone through.
Building on this success, the team continued to raise vital funds through a variety of imaginative activities, including a spooky quiz, bake sale, meat hamper raffle, and an additional quiz night — each event bringing people together in support of the Hospice.
In May 2024, they scaled Ben Nevis, raising a further £1,671, and in October they hosted a charity golf day at Blankney, adding an impressive £1,878 to their total. The team captures the camaraderie of community support — all in aid of a cause close to their hearts. We’re so grateful to the QinetiQ team for their enthusiasm, creativity and continued relationship with St Barnabas Hospice.
