Summer in the Wolds
About the HeART
This HeART design is inspired by the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, especially the rolling farm fields, the abundant variety of flowers along the hedgerows, and the vibrant colours on a summer day.
On the sculpture, Karin has combined these elements and created an imagined Wolds landscape, outside of time and space.

About the Artist - Karen Christensen
Ink and watercolours are Karin’s favourite materials when sketching or painting. Sometimes she works on location, and sometimes in her studio in Kirton, near Boston.
She is a member of the Lincolnshire Artists Society, and the Boston and Kirton art groups, as well as teaching various sketching and painting courses and exhibits with several art groups.
