About this Young at HeART sculpture
The children of Sturton by Stow Primary School have designed hearts which feature tractors, sunset walks, the Lincoln Cathedral, and other great things you’ll see in Lincolnshire.
The heart is made of chicken wire and Modroc which is a casting plaster. It came together with the help from some of our Year 6 children, who enjoyed getting involved in making this sculpture come to life.
All the hearts you see were drawn by the students and they cover the entire sculpture, treated with varnish for a smooth and glossy finish so everything looks neat. Can you find all the hearts and what they mean?
Description kindly provided by Sturton by Stow Primary School.
