The St Giles Nursery School logo is a rainbow and their motto is; ‘Belonging, Exploring, Achieving’ which they believe is incredibly important for children to keep in mind as they go through the school years.

The students at the school are taught the fun and engaging story ‘The Lincolnshire Puppy’, which follows a trail around Lincoln’s iconic sites, and they learn to recognise the flag.

It seemed fitting that the Lincoln flag is at the centre of this heart, and running through it, the rainbow which is a symbol of hope, an all-embracing image of love and friendship.

In the heart the children’s stories are told of why they ‘Love Lincolnshire’ and what that means to them, with designs individually created by the students.
