About the HeART
This design is Inspired by the agricultural and equestrian roots of Lincolnshire and has been made of reclaimed horseshoes. To many, the horseshoe is a symbol of good luck and protection hence the name ‘Lucky Heart’.
The glazed varnish creates an iridescent and colourful effect depending on the light, flipping from green to a vibrant purple-pink.
Lincoln-based company Fizzco are sponsoring this HeART in honour of Lesley Hodges, the mother of an employee who recently received care from St Barnabas before her passing. She loved animals and the outdoors and would have loved this sculpture.
