The students of Huntingtower Academy have worked collaboratively to create this sculpture.

Included in the design are the Magna Carter, Lincolnshire sausages, a seal to represent Lincolnshire’s coast, Grantham’s gingerbread, Isaac Newton’s apple and Huntingtower tower to represent the school’s community.

The background colours are the Lincolnshire flag but with the addition of a heart with the message of ‘Everyday Matters’, which is St Barnabas’ slogan.

This is an important message for everyday living, but also a message from St Barnabas, who have been ensuring that every day matters for all those people who have been in their care during the 40 years the hospice care charity has been active.
