I miss my beautiful daughter Lesley everyday, and always donate to Light up a Light and raise funds by holding a coffee morning. Lesley always enjoyed her weekly trips to St. Barnabas to socialise with other people in a similar position to herself. Her last few days were spent in St. Barnabas where she had tender loving care. My only child she left met the best legacy of all – a wonderful grandaughter and grandson. I now have 4 great grandchildren and I know Lesley would be so proud of them all. xxxxx

You wasn’t just my grandad you was my dad and my best friend. I wish you could have met Freya and I wish I could call you and tell you all about her and our life. As another Christmas without Mum gets closer, we hold on to & cherish the memories we will keep forever in our hearts. Mum is in our thoughts everyday & on occasion that passes without her. The world became a different place without her. Forever in our hearts mum, miss you more then words could ever say.

I am supporting the light up your life campaign to support St Barnabas Hospice for the end of life care, support & dignity mum was able to receive & at the hospice. It gives me comfort to know mum was able to pass away peacefully in comfort & care of the nurses at the hospice.

Keep your lights shining brightly at this special time. I miss my husband so much he lost his brave battle with cancer on the 13th Dec 2016, 7 months after diagnosis. My heart will stay with yours forever my love ❤

My Gran was the kindest person I knew. She would do anything for me and I would do anything for her. She was lucky to receive the amazing care that she did from the hospice and I miss her so much

I mix you every day

Mum loved Lincoln Cathedral at night, especially at Christmas when it was surrounded by Christmas trees. To know that she is being remembered by having a light dedicated to her this Christmas makes it very special.

All of these individuals all had a positive way in life and pointed me in the right direction. They are all very sadly missed. Till we meet again, sleep tight!

Dear Nan, you were the light of our lives and the heartbeat of our family. Losing you so suddenly has left a void that can never be filled. Our lives will never be the same without you, but I promise you will never be forgotten nor will the ones you lost in your life either.
