We always knew losing you would be heartbreaking but never imagined such emptiness and we miss you so much. So many memories and I miss our chats, company and sense of humour. Remembering a very special mum and dad in our hearts you will always stay and we think of you everyday. Christmas is a special time of year for families and you will be with us all this Christmas as your light shines on the Christmas tree. We shall put our Christmas tree up and put your special lights on and your grandchildren will do the same. As we decorate the tree we shall tell your great grandchildren how special you were and tell them stories of the happy Christmases we spent with you. As silent night plays I will shed a tear as I remember how you both peacefully left us and the light turned out, now I see your lights shinning on the Christmas tree and I look at them with a smile. My husband was the kindest and gentle n man and greatly missed by all the family – even our great grand children who were 4 and 5 when Bill died ( they are 8 and 9 now still talk about him and they hope he is looking down on them .

Christmas was one of Pauline's favourite times of the year. She loved everything about it. Buying gifts and wrapping them. She loved spending time with family generally eating, drinking and being merry.
