Our last Christmas with my daughter was amazing, we had just all been to Disneyland in Paris came home Christmas Eve and still even though she was so ill she smiled.
My Dad was always one to join in the craziness of Christmas.
They are both missed and loved

Every year I have a light to in memory of my Queen, my Nan. I love you lots and miss you dearly. Also this year I lost my fabulous Uncle Mick who was always there for me and my girls. This light is for you too. Love Sarah, Scott, Lilly and Poppy xx

As parents they were always there for us and have taught us so much. As we grow older and now have Grand children of our own we understand how important the love of family is and appreciate all their love for us, everyone deserves to be always lived and remembered, even they are no longer here in the living world! My parents passed away 23 years and 9 years ago respectively, and although they didn't require the services of St Barnabas, I feel this local charity is such a worthy cause. The Light up a Life fundraiser is a wonderful idea. You remember your loved ones who have passed each and every day, but this Light up a Life at Christmas is especially special! Forever remembered…

She was one to remember for Christmas dinner’s and did the best one! Would alway’s stand talking to somebody for ages to make sure they were okay. Will be forever missed. x

Mum & Dad together this Christmas xxx

Emma is our daughter, born 14 June 1988, who stayed with us for just one day. We have taken part in the Light a Light procession every year since, this is her part of Christmas.

Tilly is our first grandchild, born March 2020, whom we have not been able to meet and cuddle yet due to the COVID Pandemic and travel restrictions across the World. Instead of being able to show her the Christmas Tree in person, to have her own light shining on it is the next best thing.

My mum was a very special lady who lived her last months with the same peace and humour which had accompanied her throughout her life. I miss her every day and I know Christmas will be a little less merry without her, but I am lucky to have many very happy memories which keep her with me always.

Mums favourite time of the year was Christmas, mainly because she loved to gather her family around her. She was a strong supporter of St Barnabas and always dedicated a light on the tree of life.
We were very grateful for their care of mum in her final weeks, and love to support St Barnabas each Christmas in mum’s memory.
