In memory of Mum, 25 years on, I remember you sitting in your fluffy 'click-clack' slippers watching us open our presents, from our pillowcases, then on to a breakfast of ham and eggs… passing those traditions on to the grandchildren, you never got to meet … and thanks to the care at St B, never forgotten always loved. Dad, I don't know how to make the stuffing like you and grandad did so dinner can never be the same. Thank you for the years you kept opening the kitchen door, always at the wrong time, and rolling your eyes at my obsessive list checking. No one else can take that place. I miss you.
