My dad passed away 15 days ago at home with me holding his hand. I can not thank St Barnabas hospice home care enough for how they looked after my dad in his final week and how they supported me also. So much care and empathy from the nurses that tended to my dad. I will forever be grateful. Thank you

Christmas wasn't a time dad was fussed about but he always made an effort. Asking what meat I wanted from M+S then saying it must be bloody good at that price ha ha. December is a time that brings back memories of family Christmases when we were young with Mum and Dad making it all so special. Now as an adult with my own kids, we miss having them over to us to celebrate. There is too much space around the dinner table without them.
