Stewart was a lovely man and at this time of the year he would be getting his Santa suit ready for a busy month ahead with visits to care homes, schools, playgroups, toy library also private visits to homes without dad as he would be serving abroad! He was. Proud Freeman of Lincoln, always wearing his gown with pride! Sadly missed by his family but always in our hearts❤️

Christmas has lost its sparkle for me since the loss of both my soulmate, David, and many of our respective family members. I still embrace the religious significance, but sorely miss our family getting together to enjoy this very special celebration.

My Pete, it's been 9 weeks now and I don't know where the days go or how I get through them. You told me I'd be OK, a strong woman you said. My heart is broken, my tears fall daily. Mum loved visiting Lincoln Cathedral at Christmas. I think she would have been happy to know her light giving others so much pleasure. She is so missed. X

My mum passed away from cancer in spring this year aged 70 years old. I miss her dearly and am still rather shocked she is not going to be here this Christmas. She was a fantastic dancer and used to be a go go dancer back in the 70s. As she got into her 60s she started doing ballroom dances and going to dances every weekend. She loved dressing up in fancy outfits (usually a charity shop bargain). My children will miss their little nanny this Christmas. And I will miss my mum. My son (age 3) thinks she's gone to the moon. ???? From there she can watch over us.
