I remember opening our Christmas stockings on your bed & all the effort you always made to make our Christmasses special. Having to try and stop you from spending too much but the presents always overflowing out from under the Christmas tree. Love & miss you, Txxx

Probably his least favourite time of year but I’m sure he’d rather be with us in his tacky Christmas waistcoat. We certainly wish he was still sat at the other end of the Christmas table for years to come.

Mum, each day is a little darker without you so I hope this brings a little light. I hope we are making you proud. We vow to always stick together even though nothing is the same. Sometimes it feels as though you're here with us, just a little out of reach. Some days we could do with your honest (and probably brutal) advice, to make us see the right path. We will continue to work hard every day and support each other as you taught us.

All dad used to ask for every Christmas was a “nice jumper and a nice aftershave”. Once he’d unwrapped them he’d immediately put on the jumper and spray himself all over and sit with a smile on his face.

Still remembering the good times we had together cheers mate.

My Dad loved Christmas! He loved the parties and the presents; he always watched everyone else open theirs and kept his in a pile next to him to savour. He was an incredibly generous man and always made sure everyone who knew him had a treat at Christmas time. This will be our sixth without him; we all miss him very much.

Keep your lights shining brightly at this special time. I miss my husband so much he lost his brave battle with cancer on the 13th Dec 2016, 7 months after diagnosis. My heart will stay with yours forever my love ❤
