Remembering a very special stepdad at this time of year, we think of you everyday and you will stay forever in our hearts. This will be the first Christmas without you and it won’t seem right not writing and sending a special Christmas card to you. Your light will shine on the tree and bring us comfort as will the light on our Christmas tree. As we decorate our tree we shall be remembering you with loving affection and although it will bring a tear your light will bring us comfort. Dad was cared for by St Barnabas inpatient unit for just over 3 weeks this year and they did a fabulous job to make dad comfortable and pain free as per his wishes. Also doing all they could to involve us during the pandemic. Dad lived in Lincoln all his life and memories with him will always be in our heart. Lighting a light for him will light up the memories we have of him, especially being the first Christmas period without him.

Pete – missing you on what will be my 1st Christmas without you. Last Xmas the lovely ladies from St Barnabas came and made you comfortable and brought cheer on a dark day. Love and miss you ????

Shining a light at Christmas to celebrate the beautiful history of our lovely Mum whose light faded and died in July 2020. Learning to face a future without her. Remembering precious times together. Still loved and deeply missed.

A treasured memory of my Sister, myself and her son singing ‘Lily the pink’ at the top of our voices. We were laughing and lost in the moment. This happened a week before Jo was sedated and passed away. Xxxx

Parents JJ and Kathleen were the most amazing parents, Grandparents and in laws you could wish for. Always with us xxx

Always remember her birthday was the 21st December and we'd trim our tree on that day as children. Christmas remains a very special time for me, I married at Christmas and both of our children have birthdays near Christmas too. She is always missed. X

My wonderful nan who lit up a room when she was around. We had lots of laughs and I miss her dearly. This light is for her so she can shine down on Lincoln.

Mum, you passed away 20th December 2020, 2 months and 2 days after dad. We are still in shock a year on, how cruel it was that you were taken from us as well as uncle Ed and dad in the same year. Despite us being absolutely devastated we understand that you didn’t want to be separated from dad after 58 years together. The only comfort we have is knowing you are back together, side by side where you belong. We did this for dad and uncle Ed and their lights shine bright on the Christmas tree so this is for you mum.
